Logan & Joanna Hallock
Logan and Joanna are a dynamic combination who have a passion to build champion leaders for Christ. They are committed to reaching the youth of America with the gospel of Jesus Christ through sports camps. Logan is a former quarterback at Appalachian State University where he was one of the team’s most respected leaders during his 2010 to 2014 career. He holds the all time record at App State and the Southern Conference for the highest completion percentage in a game. He went 20-21 (95%) against rival Western Carolina. He served for three years as the team’s spiritual leader. During this time he led the team in Bible study, scripture reading, and prayer before and after every game. He saw over 15 of his teammates accept Christ while playing at App State.
Logan joined Uplands staff on January 1, 2015. He serves as our Director of Sports and Athletics. We are excited for this branch at Uplands, and look forward to putting on individual and team camps for young athletes all over the country. Logan met Joanna through Mount Vernon Baptist Church. They now serve in the youth department as leaders.
Joanna, worked as a vet tech for two years at the Animal Hospital of Ashe, she joined Logan on staff since their marriage on March 15, 2015. She graduated from Piedmont University with her degree in Christian Ministries in 2013. Joanna has a passion to reach teen girls with the refreshing confidence Christ offers. She also has a passion for horses and plans to intertwine horses with reaching out to teens. Joanna’s relentless pursuit for Christ and what He wants for her life is what she longs to share with the girls of America. Together they plan to reach, train, and send out champion leaders for Christ.
Logan has spoken to ball teams, youth groups, and churches and would love to share the Gospel with your group.
