Anne and I wanted to take a moment and let you know how much of a blessing you were on your recent trip to Richmond. There are several things that we appreciate about you and Sue; you're biblical, you're approachable, you're genuine, and you're Christ like. We will be praying for you and the work of Uplands Reach, and we hope to have the opportunity to drop by and see the camp sometime this summer.

Thanks for being with us for our Spring Revival at Mt. Olive. We experienced an outpouring of God’s blessing as we witnessed the salvation of at least six people during the meetings. It was good to baptized three of them on Wednesday evening of the revival. Also, on Wednesday evening we saw over 100 teenagers in attendance with at least 20 of them making decisions that evening. It was a joy to see the altar full every night with people confessing sin and drawing closer to the Lord. We have seen at least ten people join our church in the weeks following the revival. Praise the Lord for choosing to smile up on us and moving in the hearts of those who attended the revival services.

I am excited about how God used you doing our Revival here at Sugar Grove Baptist Church! We had 17 saved! Praise God! And the altar was full each service! I know God did a work in the lives of everyone who attended, and He spoke to my heart as well. We look forward to the full effect of this revival in weeks ahead as God continues to change His church back to the way He made it!

Brother Neal came to our church for Spring Revival. The meeting was held Friday night, Saturday morning and night, and concluded Sunday morning with the hope of breaking the traditional mold for revival. I believe the power of God through the Holy Spirit was manifested as strong as we have experienced since my becoming the pastor at Cranberry. Three adults moved to receive and follow Christ! Brother Neal has been a mentor and friend for more than twenty years. I trust him to preach the whole truth of the Gospel!

On Sunday, I baptized two people, and two other joined the church. We are following up on several more. Also, a couple who has lived together for several years went to the courthouse and got married on Thursday after the services! You do have the gift/calling of evangelism, but the Lord clearly uses you to call His people to repentance and holiness. I believe that will have a great impact on the lost as God's people humble themselves and truly follow the Lord.

Uplands Reach is a place on fire for Jesus and the Gospel!  I have the privilege of pastoring Neal and Sue Hatfield, who love Jesus more than anything in this world. Neal has preached every year at Mount Vernon, and it is evident that God's anointing stirs his heart for souls and the Gospel.
