We Need You!

Uplands Reach Conference Center could not operate without our amazing volunteers.  Although we have staff on duty at all times, our events could not happen without those who give their time.  This generation needs world changers.  God can use you to build them!

What do volunteers do?

There are a variety of positions to be filled, depending on the event.  Food preparation, general cleaning,  safety watch, and Activity Leader assistance are just a few of the jobs offered.

How do I sign up?

If you are interested in being a volunteer please fill out our Volunteer Application and return it to our office. This can be mailed, faxed, or returned in person.

You will also need to fill out our 2016 Registration Form.

The Registration Form CANNOT be FAXED.  This form requires notarization, therefore you must return it by mail or in person.

Do I need training?

Here at Uplands, we have high expectations for our volunteers.  All responsibilities are to be completed with great attention.  Because of this, our volunteers go through an intensive training session and background check.  Even if you have been trained before, you are still required to attend one of our training sessions every year you wish to serve.  We do this to keep our policies fresh in the minds of our volunteers.  Also, our policies can change from year to year.  It never hurts for important safety information to be reiterated.  After all, Neal’s favorite words are safety, safety, SAFETY!

Training Dates:

May 31 at 7pm

June 5 at 2:30pm

Both sessions will be held on the URCC campus.

It is important that you go through training BEFORE the day of the event.  Last minute trainings are for emergency situations ONLY.  Training on the day of an event restricts our training time and hampers the event’s schedule.  FOR THE SAKE OF THOSE ATTENDING AND WORKING THE EVENT, PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO COMPLETE TRAINING.

When can I volunteer?

We need volunteers for ALL of our events!  For a list of these events please see our event calendar. Volunteering for events, however, does not require you remain for the entire event.  While volunteering for the duration of the event is preferred, we greatly appreciate any time you are able to give.
